Study Association Clio

Clio is the Study Association of the study International Relations & International Organization at the University of Groningen. Clio has 1250 members and is one of the largest students' associations in Groningen, and the largest students' organisation at a Dutch faculty of arts. During this interdisciplinary study, students learn to analyse from different perspectives: a political, an economical, a historical and a judicial point of view are developed.

By organising an annual conference, Clio is trying to make students apply their theoretical luggage into practical knowledge. This is done by selecting a specific topic in the field of International Relations around which a conference will be held. This conference will include 2 workshop rounds in which renowned professionals and academics will guide students into specific areas of the topic of the conference. Ultimately, the conference will culminate into a debate in which professionals, academics and students can participate.

On this website you will find information about previous conferences and the current Conference Committee.
