              Study Association Clio

Clio is the Study Association of the study International Relations & International Organization at the University of Groningen. Clio has 1250 members and is one of the largest students' associations in Groningen, and the largest students' organisation at a Dutch faculty of arts. During this interdisciplinary study, students learn to analyse from different perspectives: a political, an economical, a historical and a judicial point of view are developed.

By organising an annual conference, Clio is trying to make students apply their theoretical luggage into practical knowledge. This is done by selecting a specific topic in the field of International Relations around which a conference will be held. This conference will start with 2 workshop rounds in which renowned professionals and academics will guide students into specific areas of the topic of the conference. After lunch the day will continue with three keynote speakers, all presenting their own view on the topic. Ultimately, the conference will culminate into a debate in which professionals, academics and students can participate.

On this website you will find information about previous conferences and the current Conference Committee. This year's topic will be revealed in a few days. Updates will be posted regularly.
